Ryan Coyne - Performance vs. Dave McNemar 6/25

Ok, so it was an ugly fight. Doug and I cringed as McNemar used thug tactics to try to get Ryan's guard away from his face, and in some cases it worked. Ryan didn't do enough of his trademark body work, but considering he was in there against a guy leading with his head, one can understand why he wasn't digging as much as he usually does. I'm not taking anything away from Mcnemar, he was a solid and tough opponent who had a decent defense...but did not share the enthusiam that Coyne had for entertaining the fans that came out to see the fight. Ryan clearly won - I had it 117-111, but I can see why the judges had it closer. Looking at the Outlaw's face during the fight didn't help either...Anyway, it is what it is - a win over an undefeated opponent. Hopefully, it's on to bigger and better things. Stay tuned.
