Haye is a trash talker, but for some reason I don't hate him for it. He is a very entertaining (if not smallish) heavyweight fighter with serious speed and power. He can most certainly back up his words with his skills and confidence. Wlad is nothing short of a beast. He is Ivan Drago minus the roids and annoying spike wife.
I am expecting an explosive ending in this one regardless of whose arm is raised in the end...though I think that you have to give the edge to the Russian and his 'rock em sock' em robotic Euro-Russian jabfesting style.
The fight is intriguing on several levels...Haye has shown that he can hurt (if you can imagine) an even larger opponent. He staggered Nic Valuev in thier championship bout...which is nothing short of a miracle considering the brow thickness of Valuev matches most images of the cro-magnon human.
Wlad has had a suspect chin in the past, but has seemingly rectified that issue over the past five years...but I still think there is a vulnerability in there if a fearless opponent is willing (and able) to take a huge right hand. I would like to see Haye completely and uncontoversially TURD Wlad because frankly, I think it will be good for the Heavyweight division. the Klit's have dominated to the point that it's getting boring. Maybe if a few of the larger cruisers would step like Haye and Adamek, up we'd be able to talk about the heavies again. Until then, deal with the endless stream of KO's delivered by the Russians. Prediction: Klit UD, Hope: Haye by BRUTAL KO.
